AhMa - Ah boy ya because to Commemorating Soka Gakkai International President Ikeda’s 20th year of visit to Singapore. And also to really reach out to friends & family member to join this soka big family!

Ahboy - WAH! Hip-pop dancing?! WOOooOoOOOoH~ AhMa by the way what is Absolute Happiness?
AhMa - Absolute happiness, on the other hand, is something we must find within. It means establishing a state of life in which we are never defeated by trials and where just being alive is a source of great joy. This persists no matter what we might be lacking, or what might happen around us. A deep sense of joy is something which can only exist in the innermost reaches of our life, and which cannot be destroyed by any external forces. It is eternal and inexhaustible.
This kind of satisfaction is to be found in consistent and repeated effort, so that we can say, "Today, again, I did my very best. Today, again, I have no regrets. Today, again, I won." The accumulated result of such efforts is a life of great victory.
What we should compare is not ourselves against others. We should compare who we are today against who we were yesterday, who we are today against who we will be tomorrow. While this may seem simple and obvious, true happiness is found in a life of constant advancement. And the same worries that could have made us miserable can actually be a source of growth when we approach them with courage and wisdom.
And most important is to chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo!

「与大宇宙的法则和拍，燃烧自信与希望，在明朗的自由新天地、人生旅途中尽情
骋驰。」
「让我们一起，以『真正的奋战从现在开始』之决意奋起，勇敢地前进吧！」
户田先生直到人生的最终为止，仍然以此不断前进的惊人气魄奋战。
户田先生吶喊：「我要前进！你也前进！永远向前迈进！」
呼应先生的吶喊，我一直以「永远前进」的气概持续奋战。

Last weekend we all the districts held very successful discussion mtgs.
Here r some pics of District 2 and 4 mtgs on Sunday. Their mtg places were fully packed, and members and new friends really enjoyed and shared very freely. In D2, one WD 陈太 who practiced for 30 over years shared her experience ...
刚开始入信几年后，开始注重事业，忙碌于工作也开了一家雨伞工厂。就在1982年
49岁，眼睛突然开不清楚，医生说恐怕以后什麽都看不到但是医生没保握动手术。
唯有回家向御本尊祈求。已经很久没唱题了，但那天，发现里面一只死老鼠，御本
尊也破了三个洞。
亲戚和会员听了马上一起唱题。几天后，医院打电话来，可以开刀了。两只眼睛的
眼角膜都破了洞，医生就是动手术来补眼睛的洞。
经过这次的体验和大现证之后，孩子们都如信了，他们每一个家里都有御本尊也很
孝顺。

Once Upon A Time - Growing Up of Crawford Youth!Crawford Youth Growing Up!
I entered into Crawford's memory lane when I packed my cupboard the other night! I stumbled on these precious photograph of our Primary Division then in the care of the Youth Division. Next, the Future Division Kaikan's tour in year 2004, then Crawford Youth General Meeting in year 2003!

More treasured pictures ... a glimpse of our actual day performance.
Time flies, now we r left with barely a month for our campaign.
Our sincere WD have completed over 500 souvenirs for all of us and our invited guests. As mentioned before, each one takes 5 hours to complete. Really great efforts and hardwork by the WD! Let's not let them down, continue to do our best to invite our friends for this gathering.

Here is the letter we sent to Sensei to report our progress. Let's together advance with greater determination and passion ...
敬爱的池田恩师与夫人，
您好。在此，向您汇报我们新加坡哥罗福支部的广布进展。
在过去半年以来，我们全力地掀起和展开了折伏与推广学会刊物运动。如今已达成
了在今年初所定的目标100位订购学会刊物。
今年五月,我们的会员, 吴淑敏(女子部)和张宝英(妇人部)相隔16天逝世。淑敏虽然患
有自闭症，但她常常帮妈妈把佛坛打理干净。 她意外地喝下两瓶酱青，昏迷了十多
天后安详过世。
而宝英去年诊断患了胃癌，医生说她只剩三个月的寿命。她并没有放弃，反而全力
作折伏，鼓励同志。她延长了九个月的寿命，在这段时间里，她创造了无数的价
值。
宝英的逝世对她的家人和许多认识她的友人来说是个大的打击。在支部广布活动
上，也给予我们些许的考验。我们绞尽脑汁不断的研习恩师您的指导。同时,与干事
和会员们对话恳谈以便解答任何有关生死的疑问。经过这次的信心考验, 我们成长
了。
宝英的父母了解这一切的意义,没有被打败或动摇。在七月的座谈会上，宝英的妈
妈，我们的地区担也是三十年信心前辈，确信的分享道,“每个人有自己独特的宿业
和使命。我确信我的女儿已经诞生在宇宙的某个角落努力投入广布。我们不要败给
三障四魔。我早已经走出悲伤了。请不要怀疑，让我们继续与我们的恩师共进
吧。”
多麽坚强啊！真是信心前辈的现证，不愧修行了多年。没有任何事可以打败她了。
当我们听到她的“狮子吼”时，我们都情不自禁的留下泪来。能与这样的同志和恩
师您共进，这是多麽的美妙。
为了纪念恩师与夫人到访新加坡的20周年, 我们全体干事与会员们也开始紧锣密鼓
地筹备着9月21日的支部友谊聚会。这次是由我们的青年部负责率领总会的执行小
组，表演项目包括四者歌咏，青年部舞蹈，孩童舞蹈，体验话剧和佛法讲座。 我们
衷心的期盼恩师您与夫人能出席和参与这大欢喜的喜悦聚会。
我们也继续着每月的支部奋战题目会和家访，更在7月3日，师弟之日展开了80天的
一天一小时的题目和每个星期一天四者一起家访的奋战。 我们也一起同心的祈求，
聚集在一起学习恩师的指导，我们也检讨了奋战进度与进行汇报。如今,我们的邀请
名单已达到483位,我们会继续行动与恩师共战, 不断育成青年后继人才和在广布取得
彻底的胜利!
今年，我们决意以明确的目标和彻底的行动来获取胜利, 以回报恩师您,并汇报我们
的胜利。 请恩师您持续地守望着我们的成长。
我们永远衷心的祈愿恩师与夫人您每日的安康,长寿与每日奋斗的大成功。

Treasured guidance from Sensei ...

"不管拥有多大的权力、财宝或名声，也是无法获得永远的幸福。因为「人有旦夕祸
福」，谁也无法避免「生老病死」这些根本的苦恼。虽然无名无冕，但是对受持
「信心」的人生而言，没有一件事值得畏惧。
由于事业不景或经济苦、生病，或者家庭不和等等问题而面临生活苦的同志，户田
先生曾鼓励说：「大圣人超越了一切的难，这是实证。
你不是拥有御本尊跟信心这兵法吗？心胸要勇猛如王者，一定可以让你意想不到地
漂亮解决难题。因为不败给难的信心，正是建造永远幸福人生的力量！」

Sharing SGI Atlanta Kofu MeetingKofu round the Clock & Globe - Atlanta Version
Here is some sharing on the learning points from Ikeda Sensei's speech at the
19th HQ Leaders Meeting screened at SGI Atlanta Centre on 3 Aug 2008.
My Learning Pointers
1) It Is the Heart That Is Important
This we heard about umpteen times.........
In his speech, Ikeda Sensei encourages those who parents are ill..........
"Everyone encounters illness at some time in their life. The important thing is
to use that experience to expand our life-state based on deep faith in the Mystic
Law."
"This is what enables us to attain a profound sense of happiness and savor the joy
of health on the eternal level of life—something that those who haven’t battled with
illness can never know. That’s what our Buddhist practice is for. Through faith, we
can ultimately move our lives in the most positive direction, no matter what the
situation."
2) The Power of Song
Ikeda Sensei cited Guo Moruo(1892 - 1978), a Chinese writer & colleague of Premier Zhou (1898 - 1976), “Nothing moves the human heart like song. Song instantly unites people’s hearts and minds, and spurs them to action. Songs inspire and energize us.
3) The Enchantment of Fireflies
When Sensei talked about the Fireflies, he praised yet another person who are determined
to realised Sensei vision in 1978 against all odds, the late Shigeyuki Matsuda, a teacher at the Kansai Soka school!
"The earnest struggles of disciples striving to respond to their mentor can achieve the impossible. And the following year, on May 21, 1979, the first three fireflies they had raised flew up into the skies." And in 1986, June 20, Sensei had this unforgettable experience to watch the wonderful scene of glimmering fireflies that led him to transport him back to the earlier Japan era where the viewing of fireflies was a favorite past time of the noble court!
Yes it real magnificent as you watch this glimmering fireflies! I myself saw this similar scene in China, one of the hill top of YangZuo when I was on a job assignment there!
4) Faith Is the Sole Criterion in the Realm of Faith
Ikeda Sensei said, "A person’s level of learning has nothing to do with their faith, and we must never discriminate against anyone on that basis."
The realm of faith transcend that of intellect, it solely through faith that one enter the encompassing wisdom of the Buddha! This is something those of intellectual inclination, (people like me) who have to work doubly hard to shake away this stoppage to advance
further into the realm of faith!
5) Youth! “Stand Up as My Direct Disciples!”
Sensei shared, "I vowed to myself: “I’ll do everything I possibly can to help Mr. Toda recover his health. I’m determined that he shall take the lead of the Gakkai as its president.” I then set out to make that happen, writing a history of brilliant victory. This is the path of mentor and disciple in the Soka Gakkai. I hope you will follow on along this path. I’d like our young people to understand the true spirit of mentor and disciple.
The era belongs to the youth division. It is time for our youth to come to the fore as leaders and shoulder full responsibility for the Gakkai. I am taking all the necessary steps to ensure that that occurs."
Yes, Youth! Let's rise to realise Ikeda Sensei's vision! The mentor's vision, the disciple's mission to realise it! Let's stand up & walk the same noble journey of eternal happiness &
world peace together with our dearest mentor! The path of the oneness of mentor & disciple!

Today's 3 Aug, 49 days to go...
we r writing a letter to Sensei and sis lai choon will hand carry to Japan next week.

(随笔 人本世纪之光 - 永远光荣的5月3日)
"于户田先生就任会长前的1951年3月，当时日本一个月的折伏成果是九十五户。
先生叹息说：「再这样下去，广宣流布要花一万年。」不是叹息，应该说是在鞭策
身边的弟子。
他们未免太不了解师匠户田先生的心意──我深感愤怒。
我决心一人奋起，因为只要有一个人突破瓶颈，全员就会相继燃起希望与确信。
战无不胜
东奔西走
缔造万年的
后辈模范
《御义口传》阐述：「大愿者，法华弘通也」（御书769页）。
慈折广宣流布才是创价师弟的大愿。
我跟以老家大田为主的蒲田支部同志，于一个月间折伏了两百零一户，创出了前所
未有的成果。并且以约半年的时间，让当时因为一直低迷不振而被看不起的文京支
部，前进成为一个月折伏四百三十一户的第一级支部。
也带动男子部的第一部队，一年期间浩浩集结了一千人，为当初三倍的成员。
另外也在牧口先生、户田先生的乡土北海道，缔造了札幌夏季地方折伏日本第一的
成果，以及破邪显正的历史。
于户田先生就任会长五周年的5月，则在大关西毅然打造了一个月折伏一万一千一百
一十一户的金字塔。
此外也为位于中国方面的山口县，带来十倍的飞跃成长。
然后我身为全青年部的先锋奋战不懈，在1957年的12月，得以向师报告达成七十五
万户的折伏。
总之，圣训明言，「贤师」与「贤弟子」及「贤法」三者合一的话，祈求必定成
就。（御书576页）
只要与广宣流布之师的一念合一，秉持「法华经兵法」奋战，一定能战胜。
彻底追随户田先生十一年间，能完全证明这项「绝对胜利的信心」，是我最足以自
豪的。
古希腊哲学家亚里士多德曾说：「如果有谁比自己更有德行，或在实践行善上更胜
自己，那么服从此人，是最了不起且正确的事。」
身为人，贯彻师弟之道，是最正当、最坚强的生存方式。"
